Catch Up Time!

I've been traveling for a couple of weeks and now it's time to catch up with all the Show & Shares. I did see some beautiful textiles in Peru and saw some very impressive back strap weaving, but I was very disappointed in the drop spindles. Most of them were not spinning but were fake spinning with a ball or cone of yarn. Oh well, they did say it was a dying art for them. Saw some amazing knitters who were using the Portuguese style of knitting and making intricate hats with two colors of yarn on tiny double points.

We should be proud of all the fiber arts we are doing at the boarding house.

Lovingly knitted by Elyse with the help of Miss Babs pre-made chicken bits.

Just to be clear, the chicken bits were not pre- made! They were just the safety eyes & yellow & red yarn.
