Time: 12:00 – 4:00
Maximum number of students: 6
Prerequisites: beginner class
Class Description: This class we will use additional materials to make a beaded bracelet.
Materials/Tools Instructor will provide: Lucette will have a kit available for purchase for $25 that will include all supplies. Payable in cash to instructor on the first day of class.
Materials/Tools Student to provide: if you want to do it on your own, these are the supplies you will need to make a
beaded bracelet.
The disc, eight bobbins, Beading thread (I like Fireline 4lb )but a strong
bead thread like Wildfire will work (from Craft stores ). Two colors of beads,** #10 or #11 bead needle, and a weight to hold down your braid (can be a store bought weight or a large lead
fishing sinker or stacked pennies in a small bag). I suggest size 8 beads as they will work up more quickly. Bracelet findings (end caps, jump rings, clasps and glue) to finish the
bracelets.
**With size 8 beads you will need approximately 50 beads per the eight strands,
approximately 200 beads per color, about 8 grams of beads per color, approx 16 grams of beads total.**
Fee: $40 for HWFA members (must have completed orientation at the time of registration) or $50 for non-members, payable by check, cash or credit card to HWFA.
For this class you will have to purchase your own supplies***
There is a kit on Amazon that has all the supplies for both classes.
