Class Description: This two-day class is designed for the aspiring rigid heddle weaver, or experienced weavers looking for a refresher. Participants will learn about all basic aspects of rigid heddle weaving, from start to finish, while completing a sampler/table runner: rigid heddle loom parts, basic weaving terminology, project design, direct warping, basic weaving techniques, and finishing techniques.
Fee: $120 for HWFA members (must have completed orientation at the time of registration) $130 for non-members, payable by check, cash or credit card
Materials fee: $5. This fee is payable in correct change to teacher first day of class.
Supplies brought by students: Yarn (worsted weight/size 4, one light and one dark skein), scissors, tapestry needle, pencil/pen.
