Class Description: Dive into weaving on a rigid heddle loom and make a color gamp towel. You will calculate the warp and weft needed, warp the loom, learn weaving vocabulary, wind and use a stick shuttle and how to do the hemstitch.
Discover the way colors interact, as well as how to change colors in the weft as you weave a 6-color gamp towel.
Fee: $90 for HWFA members (must have completed orientation at the time of registration) or $100 for non-members, payable by check, cash or credit card
Materials fee: $15 payable in cash to teacher first day of class
Materials provided by instructor: handouts, etc.
Supplies brought by students: teacher will send to you
