CLASS DESCRIPTION: Attention all spinners! You will make an “antique” basket to hold your fiber and your spindle. It will feature an inkle shoulder strap in the colors of your choice.This is your chance to make a unique basket to hold your spindle and be a “spinner-on-the-go”. This basket is useful, high quality and unusual and you won’t find one like it anywhere. Bring your spindle so that we can custom-size your spindle slot. You will learn too:

FEE: $60 for members that have completed orientation at time of registration; $70for non-members of HWFA. Inkle weaving class NOT included in price.
MATERIALS FEE: $35 paid in cash to teacher beginning of class
MATERIALS PROVIDED BY TEACHER: All materials provided.
MATERIALS BROUGHT BY STUDENT: Snack & drink
** Inkle weaving class: if you are interested in weaving your own handle for your picnic basket there is a class for you. On May 14th Ruth will be teaching a basic Inkle class - learn to make a handle for the Spindle Basket (May 21st & 22nd taught by Zsa) or for the Picnic Basket (May 29th & 30th taught by Ruth) or just learn to weave on an Inkle Loom.
