Prerequisites: Beginning Pine Needle Basketry OR the knowledge of how to coil pine needles with artificial sinew
Class Description: The student will go beyond the basics of coiling and learn how to start a basket with a wrapped center, how to evenly space the beginning stitches, and how to create handles. This class requires the knowledge of how to coil pine needles with artificial sinew, which is taught in the beginning Pine Needle Bowl class.
Fee: $60 for HWFA members (must have completed orientation at the time of registration) or $70 for non-members, payable by check, cash or
credit card to HWFA.
Materials fee: $20 payable in cash to the teacher first day of class
Supplies brought by student: All materials will be provided by Heather
